The simple rules
- ✓Know it: the word moves to the next box. Reviews get farther apart: 1, 2, 4, 8, then 15 days.
- ✗Don't know it: no matter if you're in Box 2 or Box 5, the word returns to Box 1. You rebuild the spaced schedule from scratch.
- 5Clear Box 5: after surviving the 15-day gap, the word is treated as learned.
